The Complete Move

The Complete Move is not a package with a price. It is what happens when you instruct all three of our firms at once: the agency sells, Trent Law Solicitors does the legal work, Trent Finance arranges the mortgage, and before you commit to any of them you receive one written statement of every cost across all three. Each service is priced exactly as it is priced separately, and two of them cost you less: 10% off the legal fee, and the mortgage arrangement fee at £650 instead of £750, or £850 instead of £995 on a buy to let.

Why coordination is the real product

Most sales that die do not die over price. They die in the gaps between an agent, a solicitor and a broker who have never spoken: an enquiry that sits for a fortnight, a mortgage offer that expires while searches drag, a chain nobody is chasing as a whole. Putting the three functions in one building removes the gaps. Our progression updates cover the whole move, not one third of it.

You remain free to use only the parts you want, and each firm treats you the same. The connection between the companies is disclosed to every client, no referral fee passes between them, and each firm advises you independently within its own regulation.

The regulated position

Trent Estate Agents Limited, Trent Law Solicitors and Trent Finance Limited are separate businesses in common ownership. Trent Law Solicitors is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Trent Finance Limited is an Appointed Representative of Dragon Brokers Limited, trading as The Dragon Network, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, firm reference number 599430. Trent Estate Agents Limited is not authorised by either regulator and gives neither legal nor financial advice. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

Questions we are asked

What does The Complete Move cost? +

There is no package fee. Each service costs what it costs on its own: our sales fee is 0.8% with a £1,800 minimum, Trent Law quotes from its published calculators with 10% off for our clients, and Trent Finance's mortgage arrangement fee is £650 for our clients on a standard residential mortgage, or £850 on a buy to let. The difference is that you see every figure on one written statement before you commit.

Am I tied to using all three firms? +

No. Use one, two or all three. Each firm's price is the same whether you use the others or not, and each advises you independently. The statement of costs simply lets you compare the whole move in one place.

Who do I actually deal with? +

One named contact, who sits in the same building as the agent, the conveyancer and the broker. When something needs all three, it is a conversation across a desk rather than three phone queues.
